Methodology

نقدّر اولا. نشرح بوضوح. ونتجنب الوعد الزائد.

يجمع idupath بين قواعد خاصة بكل اختبار ووزن الاقسام وزمن التحضير لتقديم تقديرات قابلة للتفسير.

Exam-specific logic

Each exam uses its own scoring rules. IELTS uses 0–9 band scores rounded to the nearest half. TOEFL uses section totals out of 30. DET reports four subscores. The heuristics respect these structures rather than mapping everything to a generic percentage.

Timeline-aware estimates

The closer your exam date, the less room there is for improvement. The scoring model accounts for this — a student with 5 days left gets a more conservative estimate than one with 30 days, even with identical inputs.

Section weighting and bottleneck logic

Sections are not treated equally. The model identifies which section is most limiting your overall score — not simply your lowest section — because that distinction changes what you should work on first.

Explainable, not opaque

Every estimate is broken into visible components: section scores, gap to target, bottleneck, and fastest improvement path. Nothing is hidden in a black box. You can see exactly what is driving the result.

What we do not claim

Honest about what this is — and isn't.

Useful tools are honest about their limits. idupath is built to guide your preparation, not to replace official testing or create false certainty.

  • That the estimate equals your real exam score
  • That improving one section guarantees overall improvement
  • That the estimate replaces official testing or certified coaching
  • That the study plan is the only valid approach to your exam
